Harbormyst is located in the beautiful north-central North Carolina countryside.  The Dachshunds have plenty of room to play and bark; as well as chase critters.

Since 2001 we have been showing and occasionally breeding Miniature Longhair Dachshunds. 

We specialize in miniature longhairs exclusively, but we are always happy to give referrals for both standard and miniatures in all 3 coats.

Each breeding at Harbormyst is done while keeping in mind our goals - proper breed type, health and temperament. Our desire is to breed dogs that are capable of competing in both all-breed and specialty shows as well as being just plain wonderful pets. On the following pages you will learn more about these special dogs that share both our home, and most of all, our hearts.
